Sea Lettuce Carriers - Medium

$66.00

Hand formed in porcelain, inspired by the delicate, rippling sheets of sea lettuce that drift through the shallows around island shores.

Sea lettuce is a curious little sea vegetable - vibrant green, delicate and full of goodness, with a fresh cucumber-like flavour and a deep umami note. Rich in protein, fibre, iron and vitamins, it makes rather good sense that island mermaids would be fond of it.

We imagine their Sea Lettuce Carriers tucked into a grotto, gathering whatever the tide has delivered that day. perhaps a shell, a pearl, or something too curious to leave behind.

Handmade for carrying little treasures.

For mermaids, collectors and those who still like to bring a little piece of the sea home.
